Much of Northern California is under a heat advisory as temperatures rise to dangerous levels in the region.
The whole of Northern California is under the advisory until late Monday night, while parts of Sierra counties will be placed under this until Wednesday morning.
Sweltering temperatures have swept the state over the last week, causing fires and air quality concerns. Fire services are continuing to tackle the Madre blaze in southeast San Luis Obispo County, as Cal Fire have issued evacuation orders for several zones.
