(KRON) — Three suspects allegedly tied to a Bay Area identity theft ring were arrested last week following an investigation into a Cupertino home burglary, the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office announced Wednesday.
On June 20, a family in Cupertino discovered that $18,000 worth of jewelry and two Porsches, a 2019 Cayenne and a 2025 Taycan, had been stolen from their house, authorities said. According to the sheriff’s office, the two stolen cars would later be used in multiple crimes across the South Bay, with one even involved in a police pursuit in Santa Clara.
