Days after a teenage boy disappeared, officials believe they found his body in a California lake.
Nicholas Magana-Zamora, 15, was last seen leaving his home in Watsonville around 11 a.m. local time on Wednesday, July 23, according to an alert from the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office. After extensive search efforts, a body was discovered in College Lake in Santa Cruz County on Sunday, July 27.
Although an official identification of the body remains pending, the search and rescue team said they located enough evidence to conclude that the body likely belongs to Magana-Zamora, Sergeant Jacob Pruger of the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office told KION…
