Missing Fremont teen Katie Hong’s family ‘desperate’ to find her

(KRON) — The family of missing Fremont teen Katie Hong has launched an online fundraiser to help support efforts to find her. The GoFundMe was launched by Hong’s family and seeks to raise $50,000.

Katie, 16, has been missing since July 25 and was last seen in the area of Queens Park Court heading toward Irvington Community Park in Fremont. She is considered at risk, according to the Fremont Police Department.

Police believe Katie may have run away to meet up with someone she met online.

“Our beloved Katie has been missing since July 25th, and every moment without her has been absolutely heartbreaking for the family,” the fundraiser said. “We are desperate to bring her home.”…
