The California High-Speed Rail Authority announced it had completed another grade separation project – the 57th to be completed in the Central Valley and the eighth to be opened to traffic this year.
The Avenue 88 Grade Separation project in Tulare County will take traffic over the existing BNSF railroad tracks and future high-speed rail tracks. More that 32 feet wide and 485 feet long, the grade separation will take traffic over State Route 43.
“From urban Fresno to rural Tulare County, the Authority continues to deliver tangible benefits to local communities,” said Garth Fernandez, Authority Central Valley Regional Director. “This brand-new structure will improve access for farm equipment, emergency responders and everyday travelers, helping our valley stay safe and connected.”…
