Santa Cruz County, CA – On the late morning of Friday, August 22, 2025, a single-vehicle crash killed a woman when her sedan struck a guardrail and caught fire on Highway 17, according to KSBW.
The California Highway Patrol reports that the collision occurred around 11:23 AM on Highway 17, north of Jarvis Road.
