Suspects from Santa Clara and Sunnyvale Arrested in Fourth of July Attempted Homicide Case

The Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety has apprehended two individuals in relation to an attempted homicide that took place on the Fourth of July, a day more commonly spent in celebration rather than recovery from violence. According to a social media post from the Sunnyvale Public Safety Officers Association, Mauricio Murillo of Santa Clara and Donte Johnson of Sunnyvale were taken into custody today without incident and subsequently booked into the Santa Clara County Jail.
