SAN JOSE, Calif. (KRON) — Lanes of southbound Highway 101 in San Jose were blocked Thursday morning after a big rig overturned in the roadway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash on 101 occurred around 6:30 a.m. near Interstate 880, CHP said. The four right lanes of southbound 101 were blocked until just after 9:30 a.m. when all lanes were reopened. The connector ramp from southbound 880 to southbound 101 was also shut down as authorities responded.
According to the CHP incident log, approximately 20 to 30 gallons of diesel spilled in the crash.
