Elderly California Jewelry Shop Owner Violently Assaulted
Working or owning any type of jewelry store can be a daunting task. The high-end items are desired for their resale value and are a perfect target for any robber. Unfortunately, an eighty-eight-year-old California jewelry shop owner suffered during a vicious robbery. He was based in San Jose and was at his shop when a car crashed through the windows and the door while he was behind the counter. Approximately sixteen people dressed in all black proceeded to smash the glass with a hammer and made off with many pieces of jewelry.
The owner did his best to confront the robbers and stop them from stealing his merchandise, but he failed. One of the men slammed the owner to the ground as he was doing his best. Furthermore, another robber pulled a gun on a fellow employee while his pockets were being picked by someone else. They made their way out before the police could show up, but this has caused a major uprising. What happened to the elderly owner is unacceptable, and many are making that known. As of now, the suspects have yet to be caught, but the owner did suffer a stroke.
