(KRON) — The East Palo Alto Police Department is partnering with the nonprofit organization Mothers Against Murder to offer a $10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in a 2019 homicide.
Police identified Juan Carlos Solis as the suspected gunman accused of fatally shooting Victor Gomez-Rios on Sept. 7, 2019. Gomez-Rios was found shot while sitting in his vehicle in the 1800 block of East Bayshore Road, according to police. Palo Alto Online reported at the time, citing former Police Chief Albert Pardini, that the 24-year-old victim had allegedly been involved in an “illegal transaction” that led to a dispute and shooting.
