During a routine weekend patrol, San Jose Police Department’s Foothill Division officers made a significant discovery after pulling over a vehicle in a San Jose neighborhood. A traffic stop led to the seizure of illicit items, including firearms, drugs, and cash. The vehicle was occupied by three individuals: an adult male, an adult female, and a 16-year-old male juvenile.
Upon further investigation, the officers uncovered two stolen semi-automatic firearms, one of which was traced back to a residential burglary, approximately 658 grams of marijuana, a digital scale, and a substantial amount of cash. In response to these findings, “the juvenile was cited for possession of marijuana and released to a parent at the scene,” according to a social media post from the San Jose Police Department.
