During a routine traffic stop on Sunday in Half Moon Bay, San Mateo County Sheriff’s deputies uncovered more than reckless driving. They found an unregistered firearm and two loaded extended magazines. The incident occurred after deputies responded to reports of a vehicle driving erratically from I-280 to Highway 92, approaching Half Moon Bay, according to an official release from the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office.
The vehicle, after being stopped at around 12:45 PM, housed three individuals. Deputies found the driver to be an unlicensed San Jose resident.
