With a new startup, longtime broadcast journalist Priya Clemens is helping Bay Area residents share the stories and moments that matter most to them.
Joining forces with Executive Creative Director Aileen Merciel, Clemens and a team of creative minds have launched Keepsake Studios, a video-production company that films and interviews community members. In this way, individuals, families and couples can create personal, high-quality documentaries, which also include the subjects’ own photos and videos.
Clemens, who has performed video work for The Examiner’s parent company, was introduced to the world of legacy films — professionally produced biographical documentaries — after making a video in honor of her father’s 75th birthday a few years ago.
