Today, following an anonymous tip, Los Altos High School underwent a brief lockdown after lunch. Los Altos High sent a ParentSquare message notifying Los Altos High students and families of the lockdown at 12:59 p.m. The lockdown was lifted at 1:10 p.m.
The anonymous tip claimed a student on campus potentially had an “unspecified dangerous object” in their backpack, according to a message from Principal Tracey Runeare, sent at 1:39 p.m.
