Rush finally adds Bay Area stop to its 2026 reunion tour dates

Rush finally has a Bay Area date on its long-awaited reunion tour.

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame band has expanded its 2026 “Fifty Something” North American tour to include San Jose along with 16 more cities — among them Seattle, Philadelphia, Boston, Montreal, Washington, D.C. and Atlanta — following widespread sellouts of the initial dates.

The South Bay show is set for Oct. 15 at SAP Center at San Jose.

The tour marks Rush’s first since 2015 and the first time bassist and vocalist Geddy Lee and guitarist Alex Lifeson will perform together in more than a decade. The run celebrates more than 50 years of the band’s music and honors the legacy of late drummer and lyricist Neil Peart, who died in 2020…
