Santa Clara County sheriff’s deputies shot and killed a man who they said was armed with a knife during a traffic stop in San Jose on Monday, authorities said.
The traffic stop happened in the area of College Drive and Fruitdale Avenue at about 7:30 p.m., said the San Jose Police Department, which was investigating the shooting.
The man was taken to a local hospital where he died from his injuries, police said. No further details about the shooting were immediately available…
