In a recent incident, a resident’s electric scooter was stolen from a common area in an apartment complex. The scooter, valued at $500, was not in working condition at the time of the theft. The owner, who had installed a tracker in the scooter, was able to determine its general location, which was identified as 3rd Street and Reed, near a highway. The owner suspects that the thief could be a homeless person living behind the apartments or a fellow resident. The owner is currently tracking the scooter and plans to retrieve it soon.
