Ex-Girlfriend Crashes Stolen Ford Super Duty After High-Speed Bay Area Chase

A Bay Area woman is in deep trouble after authorities say she swiped her ex’s Ford Super Duty truck and tore through Menlo Park like a bat out of hell, leaving a trail of wreckage before the whole mess ended with the truck totaled and a string of smashed cars in its wake.

Lisabet Acosta Carbajal, rolling in from Arizona, showed up unannounced at her former flame Brian Dietz’s place. Things went sideways fast when cops claim she snatched the keys to his beefed-up pickup without so much as a “Hey, mind if I borrow this?” Witnesses say she clipped Dietz in the arm as she peeled out, kicking off a chain of events that reads like a bad action movie.

Menlo Park police clocked the truck soon after, but Carbajal wasn’t having any of it. She blew past them, sparking a wild, if short-lived, chase through neighborhoods where she clearly didn’t give a care about speed limits or common sense. Then—boom—she lost it.
