(KRON) — Police in Santa Clara County are advising owners of high-performance vehicles to “garage your Dodge” after officers engaged in a high-speed pursuit of a car theft suspect Tuesday night.
The Morgan Hill Police Department said in social media posts Wednesday that suspects across the Bay Area “have been targeting Dodge Hellcats or other high performance Dodges for theft.” In Morgan Hill, car thieves are targeting areas of Paradise Valley and La Crosse Drive, according to authorities.
“Unfortunately, these suspects are often armed,” Morgan Hill PD said. “No car is worth risking your life or getting into a confrontation over. If you see suspicious activity, call 911 immediately.”…
