Small earthquake strikes just outside of San Jose

(KRON) — A small earthquake struck Tuesday evening just outside of San Jose, according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS). The quake was reported around 5:48 p.m., about 10 miles east of San Jose’s city limits.

The depth of the earthquake was reported to be 5.7 kilometers, USGS said. It was reported to have a magnitude of 3.0.
