San José Police to Hold DUI Checkpoint for Local Drivers on November 21

The San José Police Department will hold a DUI checkpoint on November 21, 2025, from 8:00 PM to 2:00 AM. Officers will check for drivers who may be under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or certain medications. Lieutenant Bret Hatzenbuhler advised drivers to use alternate transportation if they are impaired.

The department states that impairment can result from alcohol, marijuana, prescription drugs, or over-the-counter drugs.
