Teen shot by 40-year-old woman in San Ramon: police

(KRON) — A 40-year-old woman from Union City was arrested for attempted murder after a 17-year-old was shot on Talavera Drive in San Ramon on Nov. 23 at about 6:18 p.m., according to the San Ramon Police Department.

The San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District responded to the shooting and found a 17-year-old boy suffering with a single gunshot wound to their upper shoulder. The victim was treated at a local hospital and released.

‘Armed and dangerous’ homicide suspect found dead following standoff

The suspect, Xiaojie Zhang, was arrested at her home on a Ramey warrant. She was booked into the Contra Costa County Jail where she is being held on $1 million bail.
