Downtown San Jose Residents Invited to Experience First-Ever Electrified Santa’s House at Christmas in the Park

On November 28, 2025, San José Clean Energy (SJCE) and Christmas in the Park will present an electrified Santa’s House and electric sleigh at Plaza de César Chávez in downtown San Jose, California. The event will start at 5:30 p.m. with an introduction to Santa’s new electric home. The official tree-lighting ceremony will follow at 6 p.m. Mayor Matt Mahan and Heather Dauler, Deputy Director of SJCE, will attend with community members and volunteers.

The holiday display includes an all-electric fireplace, energy-efficient lighting, and interactive exhibits. These features highlight Santa’s home upgrades, such as a solar-battery system and an electric vehicle sleigh.
