Willow Glen residents rally against new 7-story apartment complex

SAN JOSE, Calif. (KRON) — A newly-approved seven-story, 126-unit apartment complex in San Jose’s Willow Glen neighborhood has sparked opposition from local residents.

The project, which was approved at a city meeting last night, will be built at the corner of Willow and Kotenberg. It includes more than 50 studios and around 70 multi-room units, with 15% of the units offered to very low-income households and another 15% to moderate-income households.
