Santa Clara County has launched a digital Wage Theft Judgment Dashboard to increase transparency about wage law violations. The County Office of Labor Standards Enforcement (OLSE) introduced the dashboard in October 2025. It compiles wage theft judgments from the California Labor Commissioner’s Office. The public can use the dashboard to see which employers have outstanding judgments and which have resolved them.
The dashboard aims to address wage theft in Santa Clara County. This issue often affects low-wage and vulnerable workers in industries such as retail, construction, homecare, and janitorial services. The County hopes the database will encourage employers to follow labor laws and resolve unpaid judgments. It also provides workers with information about their rights and available resources.
Recent legal actions reflect the County’s efforts to address wage theft. In May 2025, Santa Clara County filed a lawsuit against five Metro by T-Mobile stores in East San José for alleged wage theft involving several dozen employees.
