On TikTok, a few friends in San Jose are raising concerns about a meal they say they bought from Cajun Bistro that appeared to contain raw beef they believed was inedible. According to a post uploaded by one of them, the friends had ordered a noodle-based dish that included slices of beef from the restaurant. At first, nothing seemed out of the ordinary when they received their order. But after taking a few bites, one of them noticed that the meat felt unusually chewy and difficult to bite through, which caused them to take a closer look at what they were eating.

Ordered food from Cajun Bistro- My friend and I ordered a noodle dish that contained beef. When he took some bites he said it was kind of chewy and told him to look in the middle. Completely raw in the middle here, talked to them on the phone and it seemed that had no understanding of what raw or not cooked meant. For being in the food industry it should be known what raw or uncooked mean, even with a slight language barrier. Only till I had showed him in person a photo of my food he understood and apologized. When I asked for a refund he went on the phone with his boss and said she wouldn’t do the refund unless I had the food with me. It was a clear photo the food was raw and no refund was made.
