The family of a 27-year-old man is suing a California funeral business after the family says they received a bag containing what they thought was was the young man’s clothing — but turned out to be a brain.
Alexander Pinon died on May 19 at a Santa Clara, Calif., residence, according to a complaint filed by his relatives in Santa Clara Superior Court on Oct. 2.
His family contracted the services of Lima Family Erickson Memorial Chapel in San Jose for a “full-service memorial tribute package,” to the cost of more than $10,000 and including the embalming, dressing and casketing of Alexander’s body, per the complaint, which was reviewed by PEOPLE…
