Detectives need help to solve Pleasanton cold case homicide

(KRON) — Exactly 39 years ago, a young woman vanished in Pleasanton before she was found dead along the side of a Sunol road. The killer of 20-year-old Dana Ramm was never caught.

On Monday, the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office asked the public for help to finally solve the cold case.

Ramm was last seen alive on the evening of December 28, 1986. She was inside a brown Oldsmobile that had run out of gas and was parked at a gas station on the corner of Valley Avenue and Santa Rita Road in Pleasanton…
