MORGAN HILL, CA — “On December 29, 2025, at approximately 2:56 a.m., Morgan Hill Police Officers conducted proactive surveillance along East Dunne Avenue to intercept vehicle theft and burglary crews entering the city.
At approximately 3:00 a.m., officers observed a blue Dodge Charger ‘Hellcat’ traveling on East Dunne Avenue toward Sorrel Way without a license plate. When officers attempted an enforcement stop, the vehicle failed to yield. Officers successfully deployed stop sticks as the Charger entered northbound Hwy 101.
A pursuit ensued and continued onto westbound Hwy 85. Despite traveling on severely damaged rims, the suspect vehicle continued to flee, eventually exiting at Santa Teresa Boulevard in San Jose. The driver then traveled the wrong way onto the eastbound Hwy 101/Santa Teresa Boulevard off-ramp, at which point officers disabled the vehicle…
