(KRON) — California Highway Patrol (CHP) officers from the Oakland and Marin offices teamed up Wednesday night to catch a Tesla Cybertruck, the agency announced in a social media post. The truck fleeing caused officers to engage in a pursuit, CHP said.
Officers deployed spike strips and successfully stopped the Tesla, CHP said. The right rear tire of the Cybertruck appears to have come off before the pursuit’s conclusion.
CHP did not state a reason for the vehicle pursuit. Multiple suspects were arrested in the incident. Photos (below) show the aftermath of the chase.
