One of the Bay Area’s last Taco Bells still operating out of the chain’s original Mission-style buildings is set to close this week, marking the end of an era that stretches back nearly six decades.
The Taco Bell on Mountain Boulevard in Lafayette (Contra Costa County) is expected to serve its final customers on Tuesday, according to restaurant employees.
