(KRON) — The Fremont Police Department is investigating a collision involving a pickup truck on Monday afternoon that fatally injured a motorcyclist. The crash marks Fremont’s second deadly traffic collision of the year.

FPD said officers responded at 3:09 p.m. to a major injury collision at the intersection of Cushing Parkway and Northport Loop.
The driver of the pickup truck was not injured in the incident and stayed at the scene to work with investigators, according to FPD.
