(KRON) — Shoppers in the South Bay will have one less option for groceries come May. The Raley’s Companies, which owns Nob Hill Foods, confirmed to KRON4 that it will be shutting down its Mountain View grocery store.
The Nob Hill Foods location at 1250 Grant Road has dealt with economic challenges, according to a spokesperson, which led to the decision to close the store. The grocery store will shutter once the lease for the property ends in May.

The location’s 50 employees are being offered jobs at nearby Raley’s locations, the spokesperson told KRON4.
