Apple starts to set up shop for San Jose expansion

SAN JOSE — Apple has begun to set up shop at its emerging tech campus in North San Jose, an expansion that is poised to bring hundreds of workers to the city.

The company moved workers into an office building at 2509 Orchard Parkway in late 2025 and has launched preparations to place more employees at a nearby office building at 2325 Orchard Parkway, the company told this news organization.

“We’re thrilled to continue to invest in our teams in San Jose and across the Santa Clara Valley,” said Kristina Raspe, Apple’s vice president of Global Real Estate and Facilities. “Like all Apple facilities, our new workspaces on Orchard Parkway are designed to support innovation and collaboration as our teams work to create the best products and services for customers here in California and around the world.”

The buildings together total nearly 500,000 square feet and are highly visible from and near the interchange of U.S. Highway 101 and State Route 87…
