The 30-year-old bakery inside the former Black Panther Party Oakland headquarters has closed

It’s All Good Bakery, which operated inside the Oakland Black Panther Party’s original headquarters, has closed after 30 years. Management announced the closing with a sign taped to the door, photos of which were shared on Reddit. The shop was known for sweet potato pies, cookies and banana pudding, and its interior was decorated with photographs and displays detailing the history of the Black Panther Party.

Popular coffee shop and bakery Cafe Noto has closed after 23 years in Windsor. The Santa Rosa Press-Democrat reported that business was unable to negotiate a new lease with its landlords, who previously operated the café until the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Farmer’s Wifein Point Reyes, a shop known for its large sandwiches made with top-tier ingredients, has closed, owner Kendra Kolling told the Chronicle. SFGATE reported that online criticism of her menu prices — such as a $22 grilled cheese sandwich with a salad — and a slow economy were factors in closing. She told SFGATE that the prices were justified because of the high-quality local produce that she used. (SFGATE and the Chronicle are both owned by Hearst but operate separate newsrooms.) The Chronicle once called Kolling’s the Works sandwich — which included fresh chorizo, eggs, four kinds of shredded cheese, avocado and pickled pepper relish — “one of the best in the world.”

Postscript Market and Cafe in San Francisco’s Jackson Square made its last lattes and salads on Jan. 28. Owner Gina Peterson wrote on Instagram that she closed to focus on roasting and shipping coffee directly to customers. Chef Cristopher Kostow’s Loveski Deli — the modern Jewish deli that won the Chronicle’s bagel blind tasting — will take over the 2,000-square-foot space at 499 Jackson St…
