Randy’s Donuts, a Los Angeles doughnut shop founded in 1952, is getting ready to open its first Bay Area location in Santa Clara at 2595 Homestead Road.
The company’s new location is set to open in the former home of the Chinese restaurant Top Chef, which previously operated as a KFC, according to Palo Alto Online. The Santa Clara site is expected to open in the first quarter of 2026. The location is co-owned by franchisees Ausaf Masud and Adeel Siddiqui. While an exact opening date has not been announced, customers can expect Randy’s Donuts’ full lineup of handmade doughnuts, along with coffee, specialty beverages, and limited seating.
The Santa Clara location will also serve as a commissary kitchen to support future Randy’s Donuts locations planned across the Bay Area. The company plans to open three to four additional locations in the region, though specific sites have not yet been finalized. This expansion marks a significant step for the brand as it enters Northern California for the first time…
