Two people were arrested Saturday evening on suspicion of child endangerment after California Highway Patrol officers found them allegedly intoxicated with their young children in a vehicle stopped on Highway 1 in Santa Cruz County, authorities said.
According to the California Highway Patrol’s Santa Cruz office, officers encountered a car blocking the right lane of Highway 1 during an evening patrol.
