CUPERTINO, California — An early morning burglary attempt in Cupertino ended with the arrest of six suspects after a high-speed chase and crash, according to the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident began around 3 a.m. Thursday when an alarm alerted a car break-in victim. Deputies Kirby and Blomdal responded swiftly, spotting a getaway car on Tantau Avenue. The driver attempted to flee, leading to a brief pursuit that concluded with a crash off Interstate 280 on the Highway 101 on-ramp.
Two suspects then escaped into a second getaway vehicle, but deputies soon apprehended them, resulting in the arrest of six individuals linked to the burglary…
