SAN JOSE, Calif. (KRON) — Jurors are deciding the fate of Shannon O’Connor, also known as the “Los Gatos Party Mom.”
A Santa Clara County jury listened to three months of testimony from witnesses before deliberations began Monday afternoon. Jurors were still in the deliberation room as of 11:30 a.m. Tuesday without a unanimous verdict reached.
O’Connor, 50, is accused of organizing disturbing secret parties at her mansion, giving copious amounts of alcohol to underage teenagers, and pressuring drunk minors to engage in sexual activities with each other. Many of the parties’ guests were Los Gatos High School freshmen who were friends with her son.
The mother-of-two is charged with 63 counts for alleged crimes stemming from the 2020-2021 school year. It was the same year that the COVID pandemic closed schools, teens were distance learning online, and O’Connor’s son was on the LGHS football team…
