CENTER OF ACTIVITY … With little fanfare, Palo Alto’s newest community center opened earlier this month on a downtown site across the street from Avenidas, the city’s preeminent senior center. Located at 429 Bryant St., the city-owned building near Lytton Avenue was most recently occupied by Form Fitness. Now known as Bryant Community Center, the building will serve as the permanent downtown home for La Comida, a local nonprofit group that serves lunch to seniors.
