San Jose Wakes To Gloom, Braces For Blustery Blue-Sky Turnaround

San Jose woke up under a gray blanket this morning, with clouds and cool air parked over the valley. Temperatures hovered near 54°F at Mineta San Jose International Airport, and a light mist left some neighborhood streets a bit slick. Northwest winds are already on the move at roughly 15–17 mph, tugging at trees as a very narrow band of low-level moisture slides through. Conditions are expected to brighten later in the morning as this front passes.
