2 San Jose suspects busted for alleged jail drug pipeline: sheriff

(KRON) — Two San Jose men were arrested in connection with a drug trafficking operation that smuggled narcotics into the Elmwood Correctional Complex, the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office announced Monday.

SCCSO said digital evidence and key information helped lead deputies to arrest the main suspects identified as Lim Vo, 55, and Long Nguyen, 41.

Vo and Nguyen were booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail following a “coordinated operation” and face charges, including selling controlled substances to incarcerated individuals, possession of methamphetamine for sale and identity theft, according to the sheriff’s office…
