The Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety will run a safety and sobriety checkpoint on April 11, 2026. The checkpoint will be on Mathilda Avenue between San Aleso Avenue and W Maude Avenue. It will operate from 8 p.m. to 3 a.m..
Officers will stop some northbound vehicles to check for impaired driving, seatbelt use, and valid licenses.
