Caltrans will close Bore 1 of the Caldecott Tunnel, carrying eastbound state Highway 24 in Alameda and Contra Costa counties, from 10 p.m. Tuesday to 4:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Closing the bore will accommodate work on lighting upgrades and routine maintenance, Caltrans said.
