Months after shuttering several South Bay locations, Starbucks has closed one of its last downtown San Jose shops.
The coffeehouse at 150 S. First St., along the light-rail line, shuttered Sunday. The location at San Pedro Square closed a year ago and has since been replaced by Toastique, a gourmet toast and smoothie restaurant.
The move leaves open one major downtown shop, the one on Santa Clara and Fifth streets across from San Jose City Hall, along with a limited-hours shop in the Student Union on the San Jose State University campus…
