ALAMEDA AND CONTRA COSTA COUNTIES – Caltrans has scheduled additional overnight closures of Bore 1 in the Caldecott Tunnel, located on eastbound State Route 24 (SR-24) in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties.
These closures are necessary to facilitate lighting upgrades and routine maintenance work. The scheduled closure times are from 10:00 PM to 4:30 AM on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, and Wednesday, April 8, 2026. Please note that all scheduled work is dependent on weather conditions and may be subject to change
