(KRON) — A woman was killed Thursday night in a two-vehicle crash on the Central Expressway, according to the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety. Sunnyvale DPS and fire personnel responded at around 10:55 p.m. to the area of Central Expressway and Commercial Street on a report of a major vehicle collision.
The crash, police said, involved a sedan and a truck.

Emergency personnel responded and found one of the drivers, a woman in her 50s, unresponsive and trapped inside her vehicle. Responders were able to extricate her; however, she died at the scene.
