San Jose police arrested a 32-year-old man they believe is responsible for multiple unprovoked attacks dating back to February, the department announced Tuesday.
Davit Martinez, a San Jose resident, allegedly attacked four people between late February and this past weekend and could be responsible for even more unprovoked assaults, according to police.
The first alleged assault happened at about 2:20 p.m. on Feb. 23 at a gym along the 2300 block of McKee Road, police said. Martinez allegedly approached an elderly man who was exercising and, without provocation, punched him in the face, pulled him to the ground and continued to hit him multiple times.
