A Santa Clara County jury has convicted a man who shot a police officer at point-blank range during a traffic stop in 2022, prosecutors said Wednesday.
Jeffrey Choy, 37, of Union City, was found guilty of attempted murder for the July 16, 2022 shooting, according to the Santa Clara County District Attorney’s Office.
