SAN JOSE — A new site of blight has popped up at a property in west San Jose, an indication that the city’s problems with eyesores extend well beyond the municipality’s downtown district.
City officials have decided to intensify their focus on a property at 335 South Winchester Blvd. in San Jose, where multiple development projects have been proposed.
San Jose code enforcement officers have become alarmed about blight at several properties in the city’s downtown.
In some instances, the properties have been neglected for years without being fully cleaned up to the point where they would no longer pose a nuisance for neighbors.
